City-Galerie Peine

A shopping arcade will intelligently enhance the existing shopping infrastructure of Peine with retailers which have not yet settled in the city. The City-Galerie is to be built between Schützenstrasse and the pedestrian zone on Bahnhofstrasse. At the same time, several operators from Peine will be given the opportunity to occupy one of the modern plots in the Galerie in order to secure the continuity of the business.

The architecture and structure of the arcades is based on the Peine development concept submitted by Prof. Ackers and his Braunschweig office, with the agreement of Peine city council.

The façade featuring the clinker bricks typical to Peine, was developed by Hamburg company nhp partnership.
