Ludwigshafen Hypermarket

Thanks to the constructive collaboration and mutual trust between HBB and Ludwigshafen’s city government, we were able to complete construction of the Globus hypermarket on the “Westlich B 9” business park within just eight months. Planning permission was granted quickly and easily.

“The city government was right to support the construction of a Globus store in the Westlich B 9 business park. Its arrival should constitute a boost to the neighbourhood and ensure purchasing power remains in the area,” said Councillor for Construction Ernst Merkel.

The hypermarket does not just house the Globus store. Of the 51,000 m² of total space, around 1,500 m² are used by service providers and eateries, and around 500 m² by shops. The hypermarket including all additional services created over 400 new jobs.
