Seilwolff-Center Mannheim and the Alte Seilerei (old rope factory) premises

The former Seilwolff site between Angelstrasse and Rhenaniastrasse in Mannheim will be home to the Seilwolff-Center, which is currently under construction. The main anchor tenant will be the Scheck-In-Center supermarket of EDEKA Handelsgesellschaft Südwest mbH. Other tenants will include the chemist’s Rossmann, fashion chain AWG-Mode-Center and shoe retailer Schuh-Marke. The top floor of the mall will house a health and beauty spa of the regional market leader Pfitzenmeier.

The former administrative building of the old rope factory still stands on the site and is a listed building. It will therefore be retained and restored. Doctors’ surgeries will move into the building along with various cafés and restaurants.
