Heilbronn – the heart of the third-largest winegrowing region in Württemberg – will be home to DOMICIL’s long-term care facility Am Pfühlpark. The home’s location in a very popular, middle-class residential area east of the city center and its direct proximity to the city’s oldest and most beautiful park guaranty for a first-class living environment. In addition to that, Heilbronn’s beautiful landscape offers numerous opportunities for short trips.
Expansion to the south
The Am Pfühlpark project is the first one of several long-term care facilities that HBB is currently building in southern Germany. Construction began in August 2009. HBB has found a strong local partner for this project in Koch & Meyer Bauunternehmung GmbH. With this building the architects have opted for a modern look that still blends in well with its environment. It is marked by high-quality facing materials and real wood paneling used on the mezzanine floor. A roof terrace and large garden with a fountain add to the quality of life for the residents of this building. This facility with its about 9,500 m2 in gross floor space and in-house care unit for patients suffering from dementia will become a new home to 169 residents.
The investment volume is approx. Euro 19 million. The facility is expected to be opened in February 2011.
