Selected location in the metropolis

We are now building the eighth DOMICIL long-term care facility in Berlin-Friedrichshain, directly on Bersarinplatz near Frankfurter Tor. The home’s location in a middle-class residential area is quiet but yet central: it is only 100 meters away from Frankfurter Allee with its many shops and stores. Public transport like the subway and streetcars are also close by. The large site that used to accommodate a children’s day-care facility will become home to 197 senior citizens.

Attractive inside and out

HBB is building a modern and friendly building that is marked by excellent workmanship and selected materials in good cooperation with the District of Friedrichshain. The rooms are spacious and bright and have their own bathrooms that are tailored to the needs of the elderly, as they are equipped with state-of-the-art emergency call and security systems. The building’s own garden that has its own fountain and old trees that have been carefully preserved will provide its future dwellers with the opportunity to go for a walk or linger. The garden’s rest areas with garden furniture made of teakwood round off the harmonious design.

HBB is investing about 24 million Euros in this project that will be completed in 2012.
