Idyllic residential area in the midst of life

The long-term care facility DOMICIL on Frobenstraße in Berlin’s suburb Lankwitz has been under construction since April 2010. The idyllic, historic middle-class community has lots of green areas and old trees that add to the premium character of this beautiful residential area. Since it is a junction for many bus routes, Lankwitz is perfectly connected to the public transport network. There are plenty of shopping opportunities nearby, and the popular Schlossstraße street in Steglitz can be easily reached. Here, DOMICIL’s motto “In the midst of life” was consistently realized thanks to a careful selection of location.

Garden with own grove of trees

Here in Lankwitz, too, close and constructive cooperation with the district has paid off, and we were able to plan and build a modern building in the shortest time possible. Its historicizing architecture blends in harmoniously with the environment. The showpiece of the outside facility is a garden with its own grove of trees. A large semi-circular party room, own kitchen and own laundry complete the project. The nursing home will offer all levels of care. The about 9,500 m² in gross floor area will offer more than average space to its 180 future residents.

The building will be handed over to operator DOMICIL in late June 2011.
