After the great success of the senior citizen residence in Ahrensburg that was developed by HBB, this up-and-coming and attractive city near Hamburg is now also getting a DOMICIL long-term care facility. Located directly at the gateway to downtown it offers all the benefits of good infrastructure and, at the same time, a quiet neighborhood. The numerous recreation areas close to the city definitely enhance the quality of life and offer plenty of recreational activity opportunities.

Modern, sophisticated and efficient

Construction on the premium building that is marked by a contemporary architectural style was started in February 2010. The combination of different facing materials and effectively incorporated wood elements lends a modern appeal to the building. The concave arch in the building’s corner area will be a true eye catcher. The generous space concept includes 10,400 m² in gross floor area to accommodate a total of 158 residents. The nursing home will offer all levels of care and will even include a separate care unit for PVS patients and patients suffering from dementia. The complex will also have its own elaborately designed garden facility, including a fountain, and an underground garage. As with all our newly developed buildings, HBB is once again placing great value on high energy efficiency that will comply with KfW standard 70. Showrooms can be viewed as of spring 2011.

The investment amount is Euro 20 million. The building will be handed over in July 2011.
