We have been building on trust for more than 40 years.

The family-managed holding company HBB was established in 1970. The then team of six pursued a clear vision: to create a special connection between man and real property. In the beginning, we built mainly residential homes (both condominiums and rental apartments), commercial buildings and holiday premises, but also smaller retail properties. Our locations were still limited to Northern Germany. But all projects already had one thing in common: they are places that make the people feel welcome, they fit in harmoniously with their environment and are full of good ideas. And success did not take long to come: by the end of the 90-ies, ten new members were added to the team. The additional ideas and extended know-how resulted in a targeted focus on the development of retail properties. HBB acquired own properties, developed utilization concepts as agreed with the communities and operators and then built the real estate. An in-house leasing department was in charge of planning and leasing the retail space. HBB is now active across Germany and has even expanded its business in the year 2000 to include the development of highly livable long-term care facilities. First-class references followed very soon, and in 2006 our partner DOMICIL received its first award, namely the “Altenpflegepreis des Landes Schleswig-Holstein,” which is an award for outstanding achievements in the care of the elderly. Today, the HBB team has almost 40 members, many of whom are sought-after experts in their field. HBB has meanwhile become a group of companies with numerous holdings.
