Economic and living spaces from their most beautiful side

Economic and living space at its best

We have received awards and prizes for many of our properties. For example, for particularly successful architecture. We work with first-class architects and attach great importance to even the smallest details.

Whether shopping centers or nursing homes: Our architectural concepts take up the special features of the surrounding cityscape and combine the old with the new, the playful with the clear, the beautiful with the unique. In this way, we do not create disruptive factors in the cityscape, but fill old gaps between buildings or brownfield sites with architectural piece of jewelry.

In 2020, we received the “Immobilienmanager Award“ in the category “Best Project Development in Existing Contexts” for our inner-city shopping center “Forum Schwanthalerhöhe“ in Munich. According to the motto: From ugly duck to beautiful swan, how we call it in german, HBB has transformed an outdated furniture store into a lively neighborhood center at great expense. An attractive shopping center has been created from the run-down and partially neglected property with its downright fearful atmosphere.

In the area of our properties for senior citizens, we are particularly challenged, because people who call our properties home, live here. It is therefore our concern to use warm materials, light colors and pleasant contrasts. This is complemented by conservatories, light-flooded atriums and magnificent gardens for an all-round feeling of well-being. By the way, we also pay a lot of attention to quality: The use of the best materials ensures the value of the properties and incidentally also increases comfort: Whether Italian tiles in the bathrooms, roof terraces covered with Bangkirai or the use of state-of-the-art emergency call and security systems in the care rooms – HBB delivers quality at a high level.

Each of our homes blends harmoniously into its respective environment. In Heide and Lüneburg, for example, we have built homes for the elderly whose clinker brick architecture with numerous gables and dormers closely resembles that of the historic old towns. In several Berlin properties, we have integrated Gründerzeit elements into the historicized facades. We received the “building owner award“ of the district for our modern architecture with materials such as steel, glass and wood in Berlin-Reinickendorf, which nevertheless follows the surrounding architectural style.
