The air raid shelter has already given way – construction of the third DOMICIL senior care home in Frankfurt will begin in July 2019
Frankfurt-Rödelheim, April 2019: At the end of 2015 / beginning of 2016, the HBB Hanseatic Society for Seniors' Properties II mbH & Co. KG had the bunker on Thudichumstrasse in Frankfurt-Rödelheim demolished in order to build a senior citizens' care home on this and the neighboring property.
Now the time has come: In July 2019, the commissioned company Schneider Bau Generalunternehmer GmbH from Merxheim will begin construction of the senior care home with a gross floor area of around 7.580 m² and space for 138 senior citizens.
The home will significantly improve nursing care in Rödelheim. For the operator, DOMICIL Senioren-Residenzen Hamburg SE, it is of great importance to offer future residents security and safety in a familiar and attractive environment. The new nursing home is located in the center of the Rödelheim district, right next to Bretano Park. Everything you need for your daily needs can be found in the immediate vicinity. True to DOMICIL's motto: "In the middle of life!"
The rooms are larger than the minimum building regulations for residential homes and allow residents to design them individually. They can also bring their own furniture if they wish. Thanks to the house's own kitchen and laundry, residents and staff are provided with everything they need. Like all DOMICIL houses, the house on Thudichumstrasse has its own lovingly landscaped garden with carefully selected plants, which is perfect for taking a stroll or just relaxing.
HBB is investing around 20 million euros in the project. Around 80 new permanent jobs will be created.
This is the second new building project in Hesse for which HBB commissioned the construction work in March of this year: At the beginning of the month, the general contractor services for the new building in Friedberg on Carl-Damm-Straße were already commissioned, according to HBB Managing Director Oliver Radünz.
