Groundbreaking ceremony for the new local shopping centre in Heiligenhaus: Fast implementation of the Forum Hitzbleck planned
+++ HBB begins construction of the local shopping center +++ Completion of the project planned for autumn 2020 +++ Important inner-city project with many new tenants +++
Heiligenhaus, June 18, 2019. The wait is over. Construction of the local shopping center in the city center of Heiligenhaus is now beginning. Mr. Michael Beck, Mayor of the City of Heiligenhaus, and Mr. Reinhard Mussehl, Commercial Project Manager of HBB, took the shovel in their hands at the symbolic groundbreaking ceremony to ensure that the project is a success.
The difficult demolition work and the preparation of the soil were successfully completed by the Moß company from Lingen (Ems). Construction work will begin immediately afterwards, carried out by the general contractor Bauwens from Cologne, commissioned by HBB. Bauwens is an international company that has already implemented a number of commercial projects with HBB.
The project is scheduled to be completed in autumn 2020. This early date can only be achieved through good cooperation between the city, investor and construction company.
HBB is planning a local supply center on the site close to the city center with the full-range food retailer Akzenta under the umbrella of the Rewe Dortmund Group and the food discounter Lidl, which is setting up a new and modern location at this location. The two markets will be complemented by specialist stores, smaller shops and a large catering outlet. A comfortable and attractive retail offer will be offered to customers in Heiligenhaus on over 9.000 square meters of rental space and around 260 parking spaces.
