HBB starts Click & Collect cooperation

HBB starts a cooperation with the Click & Collect provider VARIOCUBE

In the HBB shopping center Forum Schwanthalerhöhe in Munich, the first Click & Collect solution of the Austrian provider VARIOCUBE in use in Germany.

For market entry, the German sister company VC Smartlocker GmbH placed Forum Schwanthalerhöhe HBB offers a depot solution for resident tenants, which also serves as a secondary locker for visitors and for a laundry service as an all-in-one solution.

"Not only will the typical online shopper be inspired to return to brick-and-mortar retail, customers can also conveniently collect or return ordered goods contactlessly via other channels from the participating tenants of the shopping center," says Frank Löwenberg, Head of Expansion Germany at VC Smartlocker GmbH.

All processes at the box are contactless and completely digitalized for both users and customers.

“Especially in the current situation, this technology offers great added value for our visitors and tenants, but in the long term, the topic of Click & Collect will become increasingly important, and we want to offer innovative services in our shopping centers,” says André Stromeyer, Managing Director of HBB Centermanagement GmbH & Co. KG.

After the initial learnings and experiences, the cooperation is to be expanded to other HBB Center locations in order to build a comprehensive network and thus be able to offer as many tenants and visitors as possible a seamless shopping experience.
