HBB takes over center management and leasing for the NordWestZentrum in Frankfurt
Frankfurt, July 15, 2022 - The NordWestZentrum (NWZ), which opened in 1968, has been expanded several times - most recently in 2018 - and is one of the largest and most frequently visited shopping centers in Germany. It houses 160 shops, restaurants and service businesses on over 90.000 m² of rental space and offers a diverse range of products. The anchor tenants include Primark, Media Markt, REWE Center, Decathlon, Zara, P&C West, Müller Drogerie, H&M and C&A. The NWZ offers 3.500 parking spaces and is excellently connected to public transport via its own subway stop (two subway lines) and a central bus station. The NordWestZentrum also houses numerous urban services for the population in the northwest of Frankfurt, such as the TITUS-Thermen adventure swimming pool, a SAALBAU event hall, a basketball hall, the citizens' office, the city library, a kindergarten and the adult education center. The entire property also includes apartments, offices, a hotel, doctor's offices and a gas station. With a total area of around 360.000 m², the NordWestZentrum is the central meeting point for the population in the northwest of Frankfurt and the entire catchment area.
In collaboration between Josef Buchmann Immobilien and HBB, the tenant and industry mix is to be further developed and the property is to be adapted to changing market conditions.
The HBB Group builds and maintains not only shopping centers but also retail parks and is also a specialist in the areas of offices, apartments, hotels and nursing homes. This expertise will now also benefit the NordWestZentrum.
