London, Hamburg 11 September 2019 – Henderson Park, the European Private Equity property platform, and “HBB Hanseatische Betreuungs- und Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH” have acquired the “Rathaus Galerie” shopping precinct in inner city Essen. Henderson Park acquired the property in a joint venture with HBB, one of the leading German developers, investors and operators in retail property.
Hamburg, 27/06/2019. Long-term, strategic investments pay off. Even though the tenancy agreement for the self-serve department store “Marktkauf” expired, “Hanseatische Betreuungs- und Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH (HBB)” acquired the “Krohnstiegcenter” in North Hamburg in its “Langenhorn” area in 2016. “We spent our money in North Hamburg wisely, because we recognised the opportunity for an attractive development project when the time was ripe“, according to Harald Ortner, HBB’s Managing Director.
MAS Real Estate has appointed HBB Centermanagement for the creation and implementation of a design to reposition the “Flensburg Galerie”. In this way, those opportunities that the Centre possesses, due to its large catchment area and the plentiful number of tourists to Flensburg, will be used to best advantage.
It’s here, at the “Oktoberfest” fairgrounds on 6 June 2019, the new shopping precinct, FORUM SCHWANTHALERHÖHE. With its 90 shopping concepts over 25,000 square metres of space, a modern mix of fashion, technology, sport, groceries, fine dining, as well as services, Munich’s West End gets a unique shopping destination. The interior architecture builds a bridge between the eponymous Ludwig von Schwanthaler, Art and Munich’s way of life.

Hamburg/Bochum, 26/06/2020: The foundation stone for Viktoria Karree Bochum was laid in the business quarter. The 160 million Euro project is being built on the site of the former Courts building in “Viktoriastraße” in the centre of the city. HBB from Hamburg is constructing an open business centre with three multi-storey shells and 38,000m2 of rental space, in addition to an underground garage with more than 500 parking bays. This project forms part of the inner city initiative for Bochum City.
