Essen, November 10, 2022 - New tenant for the Rathaus Galerie Essen: A branch of the Dutch department store chain HEMA is moving into the shopping center in a prominent location in Essen city center. “HEMA has been represented in Essen since 2002 and is now moving into the Rathaus Galerie Essen a new, more compact shop with a contemporary look,” reports Frederik Westhoff, Center Manager Essen at HBB Centermanagement GmbH & Co KG. “The decision for the location was made because the Rathaus Galerie Essen is currently being extensively restructured and is getting a completely new look – making it an even more attractive environment for the HEMA brand."
“HEMA has consciously decided to open a new store in the Rathaus Galerie Essen because it is an important point of contact for customers from Essen and the surrounding area for their daily needs. Our product range complements the existing range and fits in perfectly with the upcoming modernization. HEMA sells affordable products for all recurring needs of everyday life. The opening of the new store with a sales area of ​​around 460 square meters is scheduled for January 20, 2023.
