New openings at the Krohnstieg Center in Hamburg despite Corona

Hamburg, May 06.05.2020, XNUMX. The new Krohnstieg Center at Langenhorner Markt has a new look and attractive new tenants. On Thursday, Edeka and Decathlon are celebrating the opening of their stores despite restrictions due to the Corona pandemic.

As a replacement for the previous Marktkauf, customers can now shop in a new and modern EDEKA Nord supermarket on one level. The attractive and fresh-oriented E-Center offers a full range of options on around 2.800 square meters of sales space.

As the new anchor tenant in the sports and leisure sector, DECATHLON will ensure a broad customer appeal. The French manufacturer and retailer of sports equipment for a total of 70 different sports will in future offer its goods on around 2.500 square meters of sales space, initially only on 800 square meters due to Corona.
HBB has completed the first phase of the modernization on schedule. The company acquired the center in 2016 and developed a new concept for the aging center. Construction work began immediately after the building permit was granted. Both retail levels were restructured in several phases, the facades, the parking garage and the mall areas were renovated and visually upgraded. The expansion is now underway for the other tenants Budnikowsky, Takko, Deichmann, KIK, TEDI and others.
