Official opening ceremony of the new DOMICIL senior care home in Theresienstraße
Schweinfurt, September 2018: A new senior care home has been built between Theresienstrasse and Luitpoldstrasse over the past year and a half. The long-standing industrial wasteland of a former car dealership has disappeared and a new building has been built that fits in with the surrounding buildings.
The official opening ceremony of the new building will take place on September 27.09.2018, XNUMX.
The investor, HBB Hanseatische Gesellschaft für Seniorenimmobilien II mbH & Co. KG, has created a total of 9.000 state-of-the-art care places on a gross floor area of approximately 152 m². The proportion of single rooms is over 80%. In cooperation with the operating company DOMICIL Senioren-Residenzen SE, based in Hamburg, around 80 new and permanent jobs will be created.
The new building is located immediately west of the city center in a neighborhood with an established residential structure, which is characterized by multi-story apartment buildings. The largest shopping center, the "Stadtgalerie", is also within walking distance. The investor and operator attach great importance to the fact that the residents remain "in the middle of life" and maintain contact with their familiar surroundings and can actively participate in daily life in the city of Schweinfurt. The development of the industrial wasteland contributed to urban development, to a certain extent "repaired the district" and improved the value of the district. The area adjacent to the nursing home is also currently being developed and built on, so that a completely new image will soon be seen in this part of the district.
The future residents can look forward to a building with a high structural standard and an overall very homely character. All rooms have their own senior-friendly bathroom with a floor-level shower. There is also the option of bringing your own furniture. In addition, all rooms will be equipped with the most modern security devices and emergency call systems.
To make it as comfortable as possible for the future residents, the new house was equipped with its own kitchen and laundry. There is also a hairdresser in the house. The large ballroom on the ground floor is a meeting place and event location for all residents, visitors and interested citizens from the district. Adjacent to the ballroom is the house's newly designed garden. After its final completion, it will impress with its carefully selected plants and a water feature. A place of peace and relaxation for residents and visitors.
