Seniorenpflegeheim Bayreuth

Living in the Wagner City
The Kreuz district is located on the western edge of the Upper Franconian city of Bayreuth, famous for its opera festival. Here, where the city merges into the first green foothills of the large Heinersreuther Forest, there is a residential and commercial quarter, which was characterized by typical regional breweries and traditional beer gardens, among other things. The district's southern border is the Mistelbach, which flows into the Red Main in the city center. Not far from the stream, at the intersection of Preuschwitzer Strasse and Scheffelstrasse, is Bayreuth's first nursing home. It thus combines proximity to nature with direct access to local amenities, as Preuschwitzer Strasse is the life axis of the district and the connection to the center.
Bright, friendly and inviting
On the approximately 6.300 m², previously undeveloped plot, the house sets a friendly tone with its cubic, timeless design. Large balconies and a bright facade with mostly white plaster surfaces as well as clinker elements on the ground floor are inviting. Ultimately, the new facility not only represents a new focal point for its up to 168 residents, but is also an asset for the Kreuz district. For example, the house's modern cafeteria is also open to the neighborhood, for events as well as for everyday visits. And of course, as with all nursing homes, the complex also includes an elaborately designed garden - for nature experiences in the fresh air, right outside the door.
