Popular residential area in the Main metropolis
The building permit in October 2010 was the 26th to date - and the second in the Main metropolis of Frankfurt. Over 32.000 people live in the catchment area of the Niederursel and Heddernheim districts, but a full-time care facility has been lacking until now. The site is located in the popular residential area on Hammarskjöldring, not far from the Nordwestzentrum and Martin Luther King Park. A total of 8.500 care places have been created here on a gross floor area of around 139 m².
Integrated store for daily needs
Based on a design by the Berlin architectural firm Broll Förster, a modern, partially brick-clad building with an integrated underground car park has been created. The spacious rooms are all equipped with their own bathroom and offer the latest security and emergency call systems. On the ground floor, in addition to a banquet hall that can also be used by the neighborhood, there is also a 500 m² row of shops where you can find a bakery, hairdresser, etc. This not only covers daily needs, but also makes the home a small district center - "in the middle of life."
