Lively house instead of old bunker

In Frankfurt-Rödelheim, the financial metropolis shows a completely different face: the district in the northwest is characterized by the Nidda, a tributary of the Main, which flows through extensive parks and green spaces and thus forms the southeast border of Rödelheim. Not far from the Nidda is Thudichumstrasse, a street partly lined with trees and characterized by multi-story apartment buildings. Here - right in the center of Rödelheim - at the junction with Am Köstrich street there was an old high-rise bunker from the World War era. The concrete colossus, surrounded by residential buildings, has since been demolished by a specialist company commissioned by HBB.

New face for the district

The sixth senior care home in the greater Frankfurt area is to be built on the 2.778 m² plot in a prime location. Like all HBB projects, this building is also integrated into a dynamic inner-city environment with all the infrastructural advantages: local amenities, transport links and recreational value, for example in the Brentano Park just a few hundred meters away and the adjacent Solms Park. In terms of urban planning, the building's height and basic shape fit into its surroundings, but its light, sandstone-colored facade sets a friendly accent. In total, it offers 136 beds in rooms with the latest care comfort and modern equipment.
