support for growth

Just a few kilometers south of the Lower Saxony state capital of Hanover lies the fast-growing small town of Hemmingen. It combines seven districts that were previously individual communities and expanded after 1945. A much-noticed, far-sighted urban development measure was the creation of a new "town center" area at the beginning of the 60s. Several hundred private homes and rental apartments were built here, creating a center for Hemmingen. At the turn of the millennium, a great need for basic services for the people of Hemmingen became apparent - a new project for the HBB.

Light-flooded main street

In just seven months of construction, HBB built a showcase self-service department store for the company real,-. With a gross floor area of approximately 12.000 m², customers and other tenants will find optimal conditions. One of the two main entrances is easily accessible from around 500 parking spaces. Behind it lies a glass-roofed, and therefore light-filled, central corridor, flanked by additional service and dining options. Thanks to its location at the Hemmingen roundabout, this modern center, which has been well received by the local community, connects several districts of Hemmingen.
