The eighth senior care home in Berlin was opened in 2012 at Frankfurter Tor, directly on Bersarinplatz in the Friedrichshain district. The location in a middle-class residential area is quiet but central: Frankfurter Allee with its many shops is just 100 meters away. Public transport such as the subway and tram are also close by. 197 senior citizens now reside in their new home on the former daycare site.
Attractive inside and out
In close cooperation with the Friedrichshain district, HBB has created a modern and friendly building that is characterized by high-quality workmanship and selected materials. The rooms are large and bright, have their own bathroom suitable for seniors and are equipped with the latest emergency call and security systems. Residents have the opportunity to stroll and relax in their own garden with a water feature and old trees that have been sensitively integrated into the new area. The quiet areas there with teak garden furniture complete the harmonious picture.
