FLORAPARK Magdeburg
HBB took over the leasing and sub-mandate of center management for FLORAPARK Magdeburg on April 1, 2023.
With a total leasable area of approximately 70.000 square meters and over 70 tenants in the retail, food service, and service sectors, as well as more than 2.700 free parking spaces, FLORAPARK is one of the largest hybrid shopping centers in Germany. Located in the northwest of Magdeburg, about 140 kilometers west of Berlin and approximately 130 kilometers east of Hanover, FLORAPARK, with its U-shaped design, opened in 1993 on the site of what was once Magdeburg's largest greenhouse complex. Since then, the center, with its supra-regional appeal, has served as a retail hub in the northwest of the city and boasts anchor tenants such as Edeka, Roller, TK Maxx, and Decathlon. Other well-known tenants include Rossmann, dm, Aldi, and Intersport Hübner.
Between 2015 and 2022, modernization and renovation measures were carried out inside and outside the FLORAPARK. The aim of all these developments was to create a family-friendly and relaxed atmosphere. In close cooperation with the commissioned asset manager PATRIZIA and the commissioned property manager Valon, HBB will lead the FLORAPARK into a successful future. The main tasks are to optimize the tenant and industry mix, to further improve the quality of stay and the shopping experience, and to make the FLORAPARK even more sustainable and thus future-proof as part of further modernizations.
