Here, the home offers 219 care places in an attractive location. The Kiel Fjord and the Westensee Nature Park are within easy reach, and the well-known Sophienhof shopping center is also in the immediate vicinity.

Regional standards set

HBB has already set standards with its first retirement home. All places were filled in no time and the quality of care in the region has been significantly improved by the new facility. The modern clinker brick look, designed by the Kiel-based architects DHBT, means the building fits perfectly into the urban environment. The in-house green area with public square is considered exemplary. The large ballroom is also made available for events for the district's residents, thus creating neighborly contacts. The great success of the project led to a structural extension just one year after the opening, the Kirchhofallee II senior care home. Both buildings form an economic unit and are connected underground.
