Directly at the largest park in western Berlin
Local recreation taken literally: HBB's new senior care home is located directly on the Volkspark Rehberge, probably one of the most traditional and, with an area of 115 hectares, also one of the largest green spaces in Berlin. At the corner of Transvaalstrasse and Afrikanische Strasse in the Wedding district, another project by the HBB Society for Senior Homes in the capital has been realized. The building, with a gross floor area of around 11.200 m², offers a total of 202 care places for residents who can find a new home in line with the operator's motto "In the middle of life". The highest value is placed on a functioning urban environment with all important infrastructure facilities. In this case, that is the nearby Müllerstrasse, which provides shopping and dining options.
High standard, comfortable rooms
The latest security and emergency call systems are of course part of the standard equipment. The building also has a large ballroom with a winter garden on the ground floor, which is open not only to residents, but also to interested people from the neighborhood or other guests during events. For all residents for whom the walk to the park on the other side of the street is too far, there is an elaborately designed private garden with a water feature. The HBB is creating the conditions for around 80 new permanent jobs.
