Attractiveness leap for Plettenberg

The "Four Valleys Town" of Plettenberg in western Sauerland has around 25.000 inhabitants and a rich tradition in metalworking. One example of this era was the site of the former Mylaeus drop forge, which is located just outside the historic old town. The long-standing wasteland has an excellent location with high visibility and excellent transport links - it was ready for the future. Since Plettenberg also lacked attractive retail magnets, HBB was exactly the right partner for the town.

Closing gaps, strengthening the city

HBB built a modern, intelligently planned retail park with a total of around 5.500 m2 Rental space. The area has been upgraded both in terms of urban development and architecture. The tenant mix, which is precisely tailored to the local supply situation, includes the supplier Hit, a drugstore branch of dm as well as the fashion retailer UPIM and K+K shoes. By combining the periodic demand offers with other specialist stores, HBB expanded the supply function of the city center with the specialist retail center - synergy effects in the surrounding area were intended.
