Gänsbach-Center Hilpoltstein

Expansion of the retail and service offering close to the city center

The Gänsbach Center is an attractive project for Hilpoltstein that was implemented on a former industrial wasteland. HBB used the direct connection to the city center and the existing commercial agglomeration as well as the excellent transport links and visibility of the site to build a modern local shopping center. This strengthens the city center and closes existing gaps in the retail structure.

The Gänsbach Center is located in the immediate city center and complements the existing retail, catering and service offerings. The area is located southwest of the historic city center on the Altstadtring, around 500m from the centrally located town hall of Hilpoltstein.

The old town ring is the main traffic artery of the city and connects the three important regional traffic axes in Hilpoltstein. With the overarching function of the old town ring with a daily traffic volume of around 15.000 cars, the retail park also reaches customers from the surrounding communities with around 125 parking spaces.

The mix of industries and tenants on approximately 3.500m² of rental space creates a well-rounded offering for Hilpoltstein and the catchment area.

The Gänsbach Center opened in September 2020.
