Büdelsdorf local supply center

supplier for the young city
Directly adjacent to the district town of Rendsburg, Büdelsdorf is one of the growing communities in Schleswig-Holstein. This is also due to the ideal connection to the A7 motorway to Flensburg and the A210 to Kiel. Büdelsdorf markets itself as "The Young Town" because it was only granted town status in 2000. HBB built a new local supply center for this dynamic location, which closes a supply gap in the city center and covers the daily needs of the surrounding residential areas with an attractive range of products.

Based on a design by the Flensburg architectural firm VKR Schaffer, the center has a gross floor area of around 5.000 m² and was built on a vacant lot on Hollerstrasse, a busy federal highway. Architecturally, it is striking that it is two stories high and has a gate-like character at the central entrance, which is surrounded by two tower-like structures. The two anchor tenants, REWE and Penny, moved their previous locations here. The extensive range of products is complemented by restaurants, small shops and services on the upper floors. The result: an attractive addition to the gateway to the city center.
