Following the success of the senior residence in Ahrensburg, which was built by HBB, the up-and-coming and attractive town in the Hamburg area now also has a senior care home. Located right at the gateway to the city center, it offers all the advantages of a good infrastructure while also being a quiet residential area. The numerous local recreation areas in the immediate surrounding area offer a significant increase in quality of life and numerous activity options.

Modern, sophisticated and efficient

In February 2010, construction work began on a high-quality building that is characterized by contemporary architecture. A combination of different cladding materials and effectively placed wooden elements speaks a modern language. The concave arch in the corner of the building is an eye-catcher. With 10.400 m² of gross floor space, a generous room concept for a total of 158 residents was implemented. The range of services covers all levels of care and is supplemented by a coma ward and a dementia ward. A carefully designed garden with a water feature and an underground car park have also been created. As with all new buildings, HBB attaches great importance to high energy efficiency, which complies with the KfW Standard 70.
