Quiet and green in Lichtenberg
The Lichtenberg district borders the lively Berlin district of Friedrichshain to the east and is a mixture of proximity to the hustle and bustle of the metropolis and the tranquility of a residential area. Here, HBB closed a gap in the Gotlindestraße and replaced the ruins of a supermarket with a modern senior care home with a gross floor area of 9.700 m2The size of the property gave the investor many options for construction development. The building marks an anniversary for the company: as the tenth project in Berlin, it underlines the importance of the capital city.
Lots of room for personality
The general contractor Gustav Epple from Stuttgart was chosen to build the home. The nursing home has space for 174 senior citizens. Its bright and friendly rooms all have their own bathroom suitable for senior citizens and are equipped with the latest emergency call and security equipment. A separate living area has been created especially for residents suffering from dementia, with its own garden. The spacious rooms offer residents space for their own furniture, thus creating a familiar and personal environment.
