Residing in the Garden City
In the central Hanover district of Kleefeld, between Kirchröder Strasse and Senator-Bauer-Strasse, which is bordered by a green belt, lies the so-called Garden City of Kleefeld. The settlement was built in 1927 to counteract the exodus of the upper middle class from the city. Even today, the neighborhood is characterized by spacious historic brick buildings and lots of greenery. In this area, HBB is building a senior care home on one of the few existing vacant lots. The approx. 3.350 m2 Before the demolition, the large plot of land housed a supermarket with apartments above it – after the new building is completed, senior citizens will find a new home here.
Integrated into real neighborhood
In keeping with the company philosophy of "in the middle of life", a functioning residential area was chosen for the nursing home that offers the necessary infrastructure in terms of supplies and accessibility. The S-Bahn station and the subway are within easy walking distance, in the other direction there are a wide range of local amenities, and the city library is also located here. Just a few hundred meters to the east is the large Herrmann-Löns-Park with the Annateich. And those who would rather stay at home are guaranteed to find a quiet spot in the high-quality garden, which is standard in nursing homes. In total, the new building offers 115 beds, 85% of which are single rooms.
