Seniorenpflegeheim Worms

Between tradition and modernity

The historic Nibelungen city of Worms is one of the oldest cities in Germany and is picturesquely located between the Odenwald and Palatinate Forest directly on the Rhine. The new Brauereistrasse nursing home for seniors has been built here in the Westend district. The historic old town with the famous St. Peter's Cathedral is only 500 meters away, and public transport stops almost right outside the door. The house is located in a new development area that consists of both residential and commercial buildings.

Inviting and personal

In November 2009, HBB began construction of this 6.500 m² gross floor area building in a modern environment on the site of the former Apostel brewery. Accordingly, the designers at Broll + Förster Architekten opted for contemporary architecture that combines straightforward, straightforward lines with an inviting character. Small, personally managed residential groups will support a modern care and nursing concept for 123 future residents, who will also find a recreational space in the immediate vicinity in the garden.
