The new Germany study Inner City 2024 by CIMA Consulting + Management is here
The study shows that city centers continue to be a magnet for people. Across all age groups, the most important reason for visiting the city center is shopping at local retailers. More than 70 percent of respondents say they visit the city center to shop.
However, in order to ensure the long-term attractiveness of city centers, various measures are necessary.
The study addresses these challenges for inner cities and provides key insights into consumers’ shopping and mobility behavior.
Concrete implementation options for practice are also the subject of the publication.
In his expert commentary on the topic “Investments in the city center – what framework conditions do investors need?” our managing director André Stromeyer sheds light on the necessary prerequisites for investors to invest in city centers.
We are pleased to have been able to support this informative and knowledgeable study.
