Topping-out ceremony for the new senior care home

Bayreuth, October 2019: On October 24.10.2019, 2019, the topping-out ceremony will take place over the new senior care home on Scheffelstrasse. In March 25, the general contractor Riedel Bau GmbH & Co. KG began construction work and now, after just six months, the topping-out ceremony can be celebrated. The investor is the Hamburg-based HBB group of companies, which is implementing the construction project on behalf of and on behalf of Scheck Zweite Grundbesitz KG. The Hamburg-based company is investing around 60 million euros in the Kreuz district, not far from the city center. Around 80 to XNUMX permanent jobs will be created.

In the fourth quarter of 2020, the first of the 168 senior citizens will be able to move in here. The residents can feel at home in the large, bright and friendly rooms. All residents' rooms will have their own, senior-friendly bathroom with a floor-level shower and the latest emergency call and security systems. All rooms are comfortably furnished, but each resident has the opportunity to decorate the rooms themselves with their own furnishings. The new house will have a large ballroom on the ground floor. Events for the citizens of Bayreuth will also take place there. According to the concept of the operating company "Mitten im Leben", the house will be open to the neighborhood and thus become a meeting place for the people of Kreuz.

"The HBB Group is committed to sustainable commitment and a long-term perspective," says Oliver Radünz, managing director of the HBB Group, which was commissioned to implement the project. "This is underlined by the fact that all senior care homes remain the property of the shareholders or the company," Radünz continues.

The new senior care home is operated by the Hamburg-based DOMICIL Senioren-Residenzen Hamburg SE. DOMICIL operates all 40 of the HBB's already completed homes throughout Germany. The nursing expertise and the well-thought-out operational and work processes are reflected in the evaluations of the medical service of the health insurance companies.
